Nora is a corporate communications and issues management specialist with over 25 years’ experience working on international accounts across a wide range of sectors, including infrastructure, transport, energy, property, finance, healthcare, technology and FMCG.
Her professional skills include strategic counsel, brand and reputation management, high level media relations, integrated marketing and crisis management. She has significant expertise in planning and implementing internal communications programmes for blue chip and FTSE100 corporate clients. Her crisis communications experience includes management of complex issues and major incidents including redundancies and closures, product recall and intellectual property theft.
Her client portfolio includes award-winning brand work with major companies such as Coca-Cola, Glenmorangie, Microsoft, RBS and Shell.
She was previously Managing Director of Saatchi & Saatchi (North) and Managing Director of start-up agency PR Centre. A former Scottish Businesswoman of the Year, Nora is currently President of the British Chambers of Commerce, Chair of Scottish Chambers of Commerce and a member of the Regional Advisory Group to the London Stock Exchange.
Nora has been recognised by a number of industry awards including two global ‘Stevie’ awards for Best Woman in Business in Europe, Middle East and Asia, Best Company Executive EMEA and an Outstanding UK Business Achievement Award. Most recently she was presented with the First Women UK Media Award 2013.
