Advertising Leader Hugh Baillie Joins Weber Shandwick to Head Strategic Engagement Disciplines across EMEA

LONDON – Weber Shandwick, one of the world’s leading global communications and engagement firms, has made two senior appointments in EMEA to lead the firm’s strategic engagement disciplines, which are comprised of creatives, analysts, planners, content creators and social media strategists from across the region.

Hugh Baillie has been appointed Head of Client Service, Engagement Disciplines, EMEA, based in London with oversight of a growing team of engagement specialists across the region. Baillie, most recently CEO of FullSix, has extensive advertising experience, spanning Grey, Saatchi & Saatchi, BBH and Ogilvy & Mather, and clients including Unilever, American Express, Ford, Motorola, Diageo, British Airways and Gillette.

Weber Shandwick Germany has also appointed Bernhard Hofer as Director Project Management. Based in Berlin, Hofer joins from leading German digital communications agency UDG. With over 18 years’ experience in digital campaign project management, he has worked with a broad range of clients, including Audi, eBay and Telefónica. Hofer has also published a number of ebooks on topics such as responsive thinking, digital publishing and content strategy.
