Weber Shandwick launches new talent mobility programme

Weber Shandwick, the global in-culture communications agency, today unveiled ‘Access All Areas’, the company’s new mobility programme, enabling employees to move to a different office temporarily or permanently within The Weber Shandwick Collective EMEA and APAC.

‘Access All Areas’ proposes three different opportunities:

  • The Big Exchange – allowing employees to work in a different office around the network for up to two weeks to get to know a new city
  • Work From Anywhere – offering the opportunity to employees to work flexibly from a location of their choice for up to 45 days within a year
  • Permanent Relocation – for employees with the desire to relocate to a different country

“The current societal challenges and the challenges over the last two years mean that the future of work looks very different now. At The Weber Shandwick Collective, we want to embrace bold opportunities for our people to encourage continuous development and growth. We believe that ‘Access All Areas’ will enable us to actively develop our team and enable them to make the next move in their career throughout our organization on a global scale”, said Helen Matthews, EVP, Human Resources & Talent EMEA Weber Shandwick.

The mobility programme will be available to The Weber Shandwick Collective’s employees within the EMEA and APAC markets through an online hub. They will be able to learn more about the programme and register their interest.

Cameron Murray, EVP, Human Resources and Talent, APAC & EMEA & LATAM Weber Shandwick, shared his own experience, “as I’m busy planning for my family and me to move back to Asia, I have been looking back at the opportunities I have been given to work in various places. This is now my third stint in the UK totaling 15 years, Hong Kong for 9 years, Australia for 22 years and Singapore for 6 months. My most recent moves, from Hong Kong to the UK, and now from the UK back to Singapore, have been thanks to the focus Weber Shandwick has on bringing the right skills to a role, no matter where the person is from. I’m personally very passionate about the opportunities that come from living and working in different places and look forward to partnering with employees who want to use Access All Areas for their next adventure.”

‘Access All Areas’ reinforces Weber Shandwick’s commitment to its employees’ work-life balance and wellbeing strategy. The business was an early adopter of flexible work arrangements where role and location permit and offer a benefits programme designed to encourage employees to be their happiest, healthiest selves at work.
