Weber Shandwick Paris and Stockholm creatives to compete in 2023 Young Lions international finals

Aicha Chani, Junior Associate, Creative, Digital, Clothilde Batoux, Creative Assistant, Weber Shandwick Paris and Viktor Sommer, Student Consultant, Prime Weber Shandwick have won the national Young PR Lions competitions in Paris and Stockholm respectively. During this year’s Cannes Lions Festival, Aicha, Clothilde and Viktor will go head-to-head with fellow creative stars on a global stage, in the international final.

Following a briefing from a charity or NGO, the finalists will have just 24 hours to create an innovative PR strategy to “highlight how PR can be effective in engaging audiences in a brave and bold way” and “show how their strategies connect with core values, increase awareness and boost relations with relevant stakeholders.” A jury of industry experts will assess the work before the winner is crowned live at the festival.

Commenting on reaching the final stage, Viktor Sommer said: “I am thrilled to have this fantastic opportunity to compete in Cannes and look forward to showcasing my skills alongside other talented young creatives.”

”Some of our strongest leaders and most awarded creatives were once Young Lions representatives. And I have a sense that will also be the case moving forward”, said Tom Beckman, Global Chief Creative Officer, Weber Shandwick.
