Weber Shandwick to host panel on the impact of technology on consumers, clients and comms at in2 EMEA

Weber Shandwick is set to host a panel session at this month’s In2 Innovation Summit EMEA in London. Pats McDonald, Managing Director, Strategy & Insight, Weber Shandwick, will be joined on stage by special guests Carola Schaub, Vice President, Communications, IBM Europe and Emma Staples, Senior Social Media Manager, HSBC UK to discuss this core question: if volatility is the new normal, how will some of the key tensions play out in the world of data, commerce and communications?

Current tensions include those around the role of privacy versus personalisation, authenticity versus ever more credible fakes and instant gratification versus self-care; issues that will coexist throughout 2019 and beyond, requiring all brands to think hard about how they behave in a world of managed tensions and complexities.

The Summit is part of a global series of events hosted by The Holmes Report designed for senior practitioners to address the critical issues impacting engagement, ranging from analytics, digital tech and content marketing, to big data, visual storytelling and new talent.
