CEO, IPSOS, Brazil  

Marcos Calliari is a Brazilian executive with over 25 years’ experience in marketing, market research, and business leadership. Since 2017, he has served as CEO of Ipsos in Brazil, one of the largest global market research and intelligence companies.

 

Calliari holds a degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo (USP) and an MBA from INSEAD in France. This solid background has contributed to his leadership roles in multinational companies. Throughout his career, Calliari has held executive positions at companies such as Souza Cruz, AmBev, and EF/Englishtown, with international experience in cities such as Milan, Boston, and Shanghai. He was also a partner at the communications agency Namosca, which specialises in youth marketing. Before returning to Ipsos, where he had previously served as General Director of Marketing, he was CEO of Kantar Worldpanel Brazil. At Ipsos, he led the “Client First” programme, focused on strengthening relationships with the company’s key clients.

 

In addition to his business activities, Calliari is the author of two books on youth behavior in Brazil, including “Generation Y – Deciphering the Generation That Is Changing the Country.” He also contributes as a columnist to Exame Magazine, sharing insights on the market and consumption.
