Sarita Shah
Vice President, Strategic Communications, Weber Shandwick
Sarita is a Vice President sitting across the Corporate Enterprise and Strategy teams at Weber Shandwick. She specializes in developing Corporate, Purpose-led and Executive Communications programmes that seek to manage brand reputation and engage stakeholders across the value chain. Her clients work in industries that are re-shaping our world and have included Microsoft, IBM, Experian, Lloyd’s of London, HSBC, Nespresso, The GSMA, Unilever, Norton Rose Fulbright, and Ericsson.
Since joining Weber Shandwick in 2016, Sarita has built Executive Positions platforms for C-Suite leaders in businesses including Microsoft, Nespresso, Ericsson and HSBC, developing bespoke approaches that build a thought leadership reputation for the executive and, by extension, the organisation. This approach is squarely focused on the notion that people respond to people, which is why Sarita is passionate about infusing humanity into communications.
Sarita is also a member of the ever-growing sustainability and inclusion teams at Weber Shandwick. She has worked with brands including Nespresso and The GSMA to build communications strategies to accompany the launch of their sustainability roadmaps. She also leads Weber Shandwick’s UK pro bono program, RISE – which seeks to supercharge the equity and profile of Black-owned businesses in the UK. As purpose becomes more important to society, Sarita works on the premise that sustainability cannot be an addendum to a corporate comms strategy, it must be embedded.
In 2022, Sarita was named in PR Week’s 30 under 30 list and in 2017 she attended the Cannes Festival of Creativity as a winner of the UK Silver Young Lions award for PR. Before joining Weber Shandwick, Sarita obtained a BA in History and Politics from the University of Oxford. She also hold an MBA from Hult International Business School.
