A snapshot of the role:  

Based in London and working as part of our in-house, integrated design team, you are a PowerPoint expert and passionate about presentation design, who prides themselves on creating visually stunning and engaging decks. You are a team player who works collaboratively to help bring creative ideas and documents to life in a visually compelling way. 

 
What will you be doing?  

  • Design and produce highly creative and impactful PowerPoint presentations for our existing clients and New Business opportunities. 
  • Ability to demonstrate the technical know-how to maximise PowerPoint’s functionality and tools to deliver highly creative, visually engaging, and on-brand presentations.
  • Work closely with our Creative, Consumer, and New Business teams to craft and communicate complex ideas and proposals visually and effectively. 
  • Responsible for maintaining the very highest creative standards for all our presentations and playing a key role in the production process.
  • Keeping up to date with design trends and adopting techniques to produce high-quality presentations. 
  • Conceptually minded to help convey and deliver ideas effectively to our internal stakeholders. 
  • A strong eye for detail, with an all-round passion for presentation design, layouts, and general art direction.

 Ideal Experience Required: 

  •  Pervious experience working in a creative environment 
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint essential as well as a working knowledge of Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite 
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a range of visually engaging presentation documents and an appreciation of art direction 
  • Strong communication skills, showcasing the ability to collaborate with colleagues across various parts of the business 
  • Ability to clearly understand and process internal feedback in a collaborative and pragmatic fashion 
  • Ability to work under pressure and proactively manage time, meeting deadlines and plan and prioritise workload to ensure all tasks are completed in line with agreed deadlines 
  • Impeccable attention to detail and an eye for the latest trend in presentation design

A snapshot of the role: 

Weber Shandwick is excited to be recruiting for a SVP Strategic Planning. This role will sit within the central Strategy team in London and will be a part of the broader Health Collective in the UK and EMEA.

The successful candidate will be the strategic lead for global healthcare clients. In this role, you will lead all elements of strategy, including designing market research, using resources to uncover data and market trends, crafting and selling in strategy, briefing and shaping creative, and developing sophisticated measurement approaches. This senior role will also play a key role in supporting new business growth and leading the strategy for new business pitches.

The successful candidate will partner with the wider team, including specialists from across analytics, creative, integrated media and client experience to deliver impactful client solutions.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Evolve our approach to strategy and how it is applied to deliver value and increase the impact of our activities for clients
  • Demonstrate the power of strategy for internal stakeholders, ensuring strategy is profitably integrated into client solutions and seen as a key lever for growth across the agency
  • Ensure best practice and tools are effectively shared within the Health team and more broadly across EMEA / Global network as appropriate

The Role 

We are an award winning and forward-thinking People team looking to recruit a Junior People Partner to join our EMEA team on a 6 month fixed term contract.  

Our Junior People Partner will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, supporting their designated client groups with guidance on people-related matters as well as key initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture. You may already be a People / HR Business Partner in a smaller organisation seeking a new challenge, or a Senior Advisor looking to take a step up. 

What will you be doing? 

Working with the People Leads, Advisors and Apprentice within the wider Weber Shandwick People team, you will provide support in a range of areas including: 

  • Partner with senior leaders in your client groups to proactively understand their goals and needs. Supporting teams with day-to-day people challenges, offering practical and timely solutions that keep things moving. Work closely with the broader people team to deliver consistent, responsive, and forward-looking HR guidance and messaging that drives real impact. 
  • Leading on general queries for your Client Groups and providing HR support and advice across the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, probation, employee relations, appraisals, training, employee queries, and exit procedures. 
  • Provide best practice guidance and support managers on a variety of employee relations cases to maintain a high standard of employee experience and organizational integrity. Escalate complex cases as needed to maintain a high standard of employee experience and organizational integrity. 
  • Lead on the advancing our People data and analysis offerings. Collaborate with our People Advisors to uncover trends, transforming insights into actionable recommendations that drive continuous improvement across Weber Shandwick. 
  • Collaborate with Finance and our TA team for recruitment within your client group, utilising Greenhouse our internal ATS. 
  • Oversee the management of the probation process, including taking People Managers through the process and keeping up to date on employee progress, ensuring all probation meetings and corresponding paperwork is done in a timely manner. 
  • Coach People Managers through effective appraisal reviews, and training on the system used. 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the HR team, acting as a mentor to the People Advisors and making improvements to our processes to ensure they are efficient and ensure we are providing excellent client service. 

You will also support with various responsibilities including: 
 

  • Working alongside the DEI People Lead in the delivery of the UK DEI plan supporting the delivery of projects and initiatives alongside our key partners, sponsors and internal stakeholders within this space. 
  • Review and ensure employee information remains up to date with best practices and employment legislation updates, proposing changes or improvements in a timely fashion. 
  • Working closely with the EMEA L&D team in the management of our external Inclusive partnerships and memberships.

What’s happening?

We are an award winning and forward-thinking People team looking for a People Advisor to join us on a 6 month fixed-term contract.  Our People Advisor will act as a trusted partner to employees and managers, providing guidance and support on a range of people related matters. This role involves advising on employee relations, implementing HR policies, supporting performance management, and promoting a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about people and organisational success. You may already be a People Advisor in a smaller organisation seeking a new challenge, or an experienced People Coordinator looking to take a step up. 

What will you be doing? 

Working across the UK with our Senior Advisor and Apprentice, supporting the People Leads, you will provide support in a range of areas including: 

  • General HR support across the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, probation, employee relations, appraisals, training, employee queries, and exit procedures.
  • Working closely with the broader people team to deliver consistent, responsive, and forward-looking HR guidance and messaging that drives real impact. 
  • Acting as first line of support for dealing with and responding to queries (for example employment law, flexible working, leaves, maternity, paternity, grievances, disciplinaries and performance management).
  • Supporting and advising managers on performance management issues (PIP and probation), as well as disciplinary, grievance and appeal meetings; escalating complex employee cases as required.
  • Managing the probation process, including taking managers through the process and keeping up to date on employee progress, ensuring all probation meetings and corresponding paperwork is done in a timely manner.
  • Coaching managers through effective appraisal reviews, and training on the system used.
  • Proactively managing long-term or repetitive absence including occupational health assessments and group income protection policy cases in conjunction with the IPG DXTRA Payroll & Benefits team.
  • Maintaining a proficient working knowledge of monthly payroll inputting processes required to be completed by IPG DXTRA HR Shared Services team, and ensure changes are completed in a timely and accurate manner for a successful sign off.
  • Supporting client groups with exit interviews, working with the Senior People Advisor to identify trends and recommendations.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the People function, making improvements to our processes to ensure they are efficient and ensure we are providing excellent client service.
  • Contributing to the generation of ideas and assist the wider People team in the delivery of People projects and initiatives across the Company such as onboarding, DEI, surveys, and various internal events.
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships to support all stakeholders.
