Two clio health honours for weber shandwick London

Following last month’s success at the Brand Film Awards EMEA, yesterday Weber Shandwick in London won two Clio Health awards for ‘A Love/Hate Relationship’ created for UK charity, Breast Cancer Now. The breast cancer awareness film garnered Silver in the Health & Wellness/Film category and Bronze in Health & Wellness/Film Craft.

A collaboration with award-winning, London-based filmmaker Anna Ginsburg, the piece sought to amplify the charity’s ‘Check Them’ awareness campaign and mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Amplified via social media, the film drew a raft of love/hate reactions and was selected as a ‘Best of the Month Staff Pick’ by the Vimeo Curation Team. View the case and film in full here.

As Anna Ginsburg commented last year when the film launched: “I love the concept for this film, it’s so universally accessible. I hope it makes women feel less alone and inspires them to celebrate whatever breasts they have, even for a moment. I hope most of all that the accessibility of the message inspires women to check their breasts regularly, however they feel about them.”

Commenting on the Clio Health honours, Helen Bennett, Managing Director, Weber Shandwick London, said: “We are truly delighted and proud to see this on-going recognition for a film highlighting such an important cause. Drawn from a collection of personal stories from women across the UK from a diverse range of age, ethnicities and backgrounds, the animation represented a first-of-its-kind approach to sharing the crucial ‘Check Them’ message.”

Now in its 13th year, the Clio Health Awards programme recognises the most creative and culturally relevant marketing and communications in the wellness arena.
