Last week, Weber Shandwick teams in Stockholm and Manchester saw their work honoured at the 2021 Purpose Awards EMEA.
Building on recent success at the PRWeek Global Awards and the EMEA SABREs, campaigns for leading Swedish food brand, Felix and UK supermarket, Iceland Foods were named winners across a total of four categories, making Weber Shandwick the most awarded agency at this year’s programme. Here are the details:
The Climate Store for Felix
Brand-led: Best Environmental Cause Campaign – winner
Brand-led: Best Public Awareness Cause Campaign – winner
Public Sector: Best Environmental Cause Campaign – winner
Iceland Feeds the Nation for Iceland Foods
Specialist: Best Proof of Authenticity – winner
In addition, Our One Home, devised for Fauna & Flora International, the world’s oldest international conservation organisation, received a high commendation in the ‘Specialist: Best Use of Celebrity and/or Influencers’ category.
Commenting on the result, Heather Blundell, managing director, UK Client Counsel said: “With purpose and social impact initiatives more important than ever, it is a true privilege to partner with ambitious and courageous clients determined to make a difference and we are proud to see these key initiatives recognised. With the work delivered during one of the most challenging years in living memory, this success is a true testament to everyone involved.”
A Campaign, PRWeek and Third Sector collaboration, the Purpose Awards EMEA programme recognises campaigns that use creative ideas successfully to further positive causes, and acknowledge the organisations behind them.
